BioUtility™

The BioUtility™ is the heart of the Integrated BioRefinery™, producing green-electricity, steam and hot water from Biogas, that are in turn used in the GPADS and ethanol production plants.

BioUtilities are very useful for the appropriate coversion of Biogas into usable forms of energy, and our sister company Highmark Renewables Research can assist other biogas producers such as sewage treatment plants in maximizing their economic returns with a BioUtility™ unit. 

Green Power

Are you using Green Power?

Green-Power is electricity that is produced from renewable, or green sources.  Green power can come from solar panels, windmills, some types of hydro projects, and from the use of biogas in an electrical generator.  This power uses no fossil fuels to produce; using green power reduces the environmental damage associated with burning fossil fuels.

The Integrated BioRefinery™ generates its own green power from Biogas, a fully renewable form of power, and also sells some green power onto the Alberta electrical grid…you could be using some of our green power right now!
