Growing Power Hairy Hill Limited Partnership (“GPHH”) is developing Canada’s first Integrated BioRefinery. Today GPHH is pleased to introduce our expanded management team.

The executive team of Growing Power Hairy Hill will be made up of Bern Kotelko, Mike Kotelko,
Evan Chrapko and Shane Chrapko.

Evan and Shane Chrapko will share the role of Chief Executive Officer for GPHH, with Bern
Kotelko serving as Chairman, and Mike Kotelko in place as General Manager.

All very successful Alberta businessmen, the Kotelkos and the Chrapkos share rural roots; the
Kotelkos own and operate one of Canada’s largest agricultural businesses and have been
consistently recognized as industry leaders in environmental stewardship and business efficiency,
the Chrapkos have recently worked outside of agriculture in the field of Information Technology
and have experienced enormous success in the commercialization of new technologies and the
development and redevelopment of businesses.

Together, this team brings strength in leading research and development, in technology
commercialization, in financial management, in project development and in operations
management.

Of the expanded team, General Manager Mike Kotelko said, “We’re focused on building the most
energy-positive BioRefineries in the world, using renewable energy from agricultural, industrial or
municipal waste to create renewable fuels. We are proud to generate real returns for investors in
